Grounding

<p>Grounding is perhaps the most important meta-intuitive skill you can learn in your life. No matter if you are very sensitive and constantly picking up on other people's emotions, if you have a lot of tension in your body, if you feel uncomfortable in certain places or if you are working your own old emotions, you need to know how to ground. Grounding is the energy equivalent to breathing out, or going to the bathroom. It is letting go of old things that somehow - it doesn't matter how - got into your system, and that need to go.</p>

<h4>How to ground </h4>

<p>In essence, grounding is very simple. It works best if you put your feet flat on the floor. You can take your shoes and socks off if you like, or even stick your feet in the sand outside. For some people the physical contact between skin and ground helps. </p>

<p>Note: We often cross our legs or feet if we are trying to stop ourselves from grounding. A very useful habit to get into is to always keep your feet on the floor.</p>
